Thomas at the 5th European Incretin Study Group meeting
Our group was represented by Thomas Greiner at the 5th European Incretin Study Group Meeting in Cambridge where he presented his work on the role of colonic L-cells in gut motility. It was a short but packed meeting, with many inspiring and interesting presentations in the field of incretin biology, including results from clinical trials using the groundbreaking incretin hormone therapies to treat diabetes and obesity that have received so much attention in the news the last year.
He also got the chance to catch up with our former team member Tulika Arora who also presented her work at the meeting. The dinner was held at the beautiful Gonville and Caius College, where Stephen Hawking was a fellow for over 50 years.
