Two intense networking days in transatlantic collaboration
Alba Carreras, Louise Olofsson, and Fredrik Bäckhed represented our lab at a collaborative event held in New Jersey 31 October - 2 November.
“Gut microbiome as a target for the treatment of CVD” is a network of excellence consisting of four European research groups, and four US based groups who regularly meet for in person discussions of the different ongoing collaboration projects. Two intense days with lots of opportunities to discuss and share the latest updates of the different projects, funded by the Leducq foundation. The foundation is an international grant-making organization with a mission to improve human health through international efforts to combat cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Great meeting with interesting presentations and valuable discussion of the ongoing projects and beyond!
