We welcome Lei and Hobby to our team!

We welcome our new Postdocs;  Lei Geng, Shanghai, China and Hobby Aggarwal, Delhi, India. They will both help us further explore the role of imidazole propionate and diabetes. 

Lei's PhD studies were focused on how microbial factors affect the intestinal development in Drosophila. Lei previous studies include gastroenterology, developmental biology and microbiology and Lei has experience as veterinary.

Hobby’s PhD was focused on how the gut microbiota is associated with redox signalling in the gut and how this interaction may contribute to metabolic disease.
