Anna Hallén
Technician, Illustrator/ graphic designer
Biomedical Scientist
I started my career as a graphic designer in pre-press, but after a few years I decided to change path and became a biomedical scientist at the Institute of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg.
Today I have required a lot of experience in the lab, and got a role in the group to supervise new colleagues and step in were extra hands are needed. Besides this, I have made a number of illustrations and graphical abstracts used in published articles from our group.
This must be the best of both worlds, surrounded by a lot of really exiting people and science plus the opportunity to do pictures that explain complex functions in our metabolic systems. It makes a big difference for me and hopefully for a lot of other people!
