Final meeting in the PRIMA NNF project “Rethinking Diet–Gut–Microbiome Interactions
Fredrik, Valentina, and Jiaying recently spent a few days in Helsingør, Denmark, attending the final conference of the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) project PRIMA, titled “Rethinking Diet–Gut–Microbiome Interactions.”
The conference brought together researchers at different career stages for an engaging programme of presentations, discussions, and scientific exchange. Fredrik, Valentina, and Jiaying contributed to the programme with talks and took part in lively Q&A sessions and discussions with fellow participants.
A particular highlight was the conference format, with presentations from young scientists followed by senior researchers who concluded each session by sharing their perspectives, experiences, and reflections on the field. This created a dynamic setting for exchanging ideas across career stages and disciplines.
The conference took place at Konventum in Helsingør, where the surroundings provided plenty of opportunities for informal conversations and networking, both indoors and outdoors in the early September greenery.
Overall, it was an inspiring and very well-organised meeting, and a fitting conclusion to the PRIMA project.
Many thanks to the organisers for creating such an engaging and enjoyable conference!
