My research focuses on the gut microbiota and its interactions with metabolic diseases, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), type 2 diabetes (T2D), and cardiovascular disease. I am particularly interested in how dietary interventions shape the gut microbiota and, in turn, influence host metabolic health.
By investigating the interplay between diet and the microbiota-disease axis, my work aims to provide a foundation for developing microbiota-targeted strategies for the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases.
