Lab members present at Keystone Symposium in Banff
Last week, Fredrik Bäckhed, Hobby Aggarwal, and Gaohua Yang from our lab attended this year’s Keystone Symposium on Microbiome Metabolism and Metabolites: Discovery and Function in Health and Disease, held in Banff, Canada.
Fredrik participated as an invited speaker, sharing recent insights from our research. Both Gaohua and Hobby also presented their work, contributing to the scientific discussions through oral and poster sessions.
Reflecting on the meeting, Hobby summarized the experience:
“Wrapped up an inspiring first conference on microbial metabolites at the Keystone Conference in Banff—Microbiome Metabolism and Metabolites: Discovery and Function in Health and Disease. Grateful for the exciting science, deep conversations, and fresh perspectives on microbiome-driven health and disease from different parts of the world, plus the chance to experience snow-covered Banff and even catch the Northern Lights.”
The symposium offered a week filled with scientific exchange, new perspectives, and inspiring conversations—all set against the spectacular winter landscape of Banff.
