The reason for choosing a Gothenburg attraction was to highlight the article by our team member Kassem Makki on the impact of dietary fibre supplementation on bile acid transformation by gut bacteria and its effect on body weight/metabolism. The article "6α-hydroxylated bile acids mediate TGR5 signalling to improve glucose metabolism upon dietary fiber supplementation in mice" was first published online in June last year and is now included in the February printed issue 2, volume 72, 2023.
Congratulations to Kassem!
