Awards to our researchers at the Oral/Gut Conference

Our group was well represented at the 2nd Oral/Gut Conference held at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm in June. Researcher Chiara Moretti received an award for best oral for her presentation on "Discovery of human gut bacteria that produce serotonin and promote colonic innervation". Visiting researcher Rima Chakaroun received a travel grant from the Young Scandinavian Society for Immunology.
