Open for registration - 11th National Infection Biology Meeting (NIB)
The 11th National Infection Biology Meeting (NIB) will take place on October 20–21 at Aronsborg, just outside Stockholm.
NIB is a biannual national meeting organized by the National Doctoral Programme in Infections and Antibiotics (NDPIA), the Swedish Society for Microbiology (SFM), and the Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS) program.
It brings together researchers from across Sweden to share research in areas such as bacteriology, virology, eukaryotic microbes, host–microbe interactions, and environmental microbiology. This year’s program will also feature contributions from DDLS-affiliated researchers.
For early-career scientists working in Sweden, NIB is a valuable opportunity to present your work, expand your network, and explore new collaborations.
Following the meeting, NDPIA and NDP-VIP are organizing a three-day PhD course on Vaccine Development (October 22–24, also at Aronsborg). The course covers immunological foundations, regulatory frameworks, and the broader societal impact of vaccinology.
PhD students and postdocs working in infectious disease-related research are welcome to join NDPIA or NDP-VIP and attend the course free of charge.
