Our former team member, doctorate Christina Heiss, came to visit on Friday afternoon and brought very tasty "Swedish Fika". Our research group takes a translational research approach to investigate how the gut microbiota contributes to cardiometabolic disease.
We aim to increase the knowledge of the metagenome and explore how metabolites interacts in the processes for developing T2D and CVD.
